God’s Path

Where is your path leading you?

For me, I move out of my apartment tomorrow that I’ve lived in for the past two years.  So much has happened in these years.  So much fun, hurt, love, pain, change, growth.  As I walk through my apartment with all my boxes in the living room, my walls bare…it’s so strange to think that this won’t be my home anymore.  So many memories hide inside these walls.  So many laughs and so many cries.  While I lived here I found a relationship with God, a true one.  And it was no mistake that I lived here in this room and with my roommates, had all the experiences I had and met the people I did.  As bittersweet as it is to leave I know that this was only a small part of the journey God has prepared for me.  It was just one stop on a long path I have before me.  I can’t even begin to express how excited I am for this next chapter of life, a new apartment, new roommate, new gym ;), last year of nursing school, and a whole lot of Jesus.  It’s absolutely amazing to look back and see where He has taken me.  I don’t feel the same as I did when I moved here.  I am renewed, I am awake, I am fully alive.

Wherever your path is leading you, wherever He is leading you, it might not be an exciting change as mine is to me.  It might be a hard one, a sad one, a heartbroken one…but have faith that He will turn it into good.

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

As it says in Romans, any situation that may seem hopeless, isn’t.  Because of God we can have hope that in the end it will all work out in the way He intended it.  If we are staying close to Him, growing in our relationship with Him, then we can know that we are on His path and on His path it ends the way He wants, it which means it’s good.  Have patience that even if things aren’t happening right when you want them, or if your chance has passed, that it’s okay…we aren’t on our timing, we are on His and in Him we can trust.  Have faith loved ones, feel His peace in your soul, breathe and let Him lead your way.
